Her Metabolism (HM) is a nonprofit (501c3) for education and science about her metabolism. Its incorporation arose based on its founders' concern that more education and science should be freely available to the general public about the critical issue of women and girls' health, particularly the health of her metabolism.
Founding Board Members
Founded in May of 2024, HM currently has only its three founding members:
- Chairman Kourosh Lindquist may have become the youngest corporate chairman aged eight (at the time of HM's incorporation and 501c3 status). In any case, having been graduated from high school at age eight puts him as one of the youngest graduates in history. Like many corporate leaders, Chairmen Kourosh will face a learning curve while leading the efforts at HM alongside his parents Floyd and Shaya. Yet, Kourosh routinely shows himself to be a careful, considerate, and studious child - and often meticulous, especially in ethical matters. Kourosh's chief academic interests are math and biology, and his personal interests include playing music (drums and keyboards), running, swimming, martial arts, gymnastics, and animals.
- Shaya Malekoshoarai (BA, Psychology), Vice-Chairman: a 911 Telecommunicator who loves camping, cooking, helping others, pandas, huskies, pilates, Persian culture, and the Little Mermaid.
- Rev. Dr. R. Floyd Lindquist, Esq. (PhD, PsyD, DLP, MPH, MS, MA), HM's Founder, Treasurer, Secretary, Lead Data Scientist, and Director of Communications and Research: a researcher and scholar whose research interests include - among other things - public health, nutrition, and epidemiology; and whose personal interests include playing music (drums and guitar), exercise, meditation, conversation, teaching, learning, volunteering, and homeschooling.
